Swimming pool
Our guests have access to the 18m X 3,5m saltwater swimming pool (heated from May till early October), from 11 am till 5 pm. 8 deckchairs and swimming pool towels are at their disposal.
Please note that our swimming pool, is equipped with an electric cover, but there is no safety barrier, so children cannot have access to the pool without their parents, and since the pool is shared with our guests staying in our 4 guest rooms, we ask our hosts to respect the privacy of others.
Children amenities

Restaurant booking
There are a lot of good restaurants in the Dordogne, but it is always better to book them in advance. According to your taste and budget, we can give you tips and even book you a table.

Gourmet breakfast
Our à la carte gourmet breakfast is available on request (15 €/adult and 7 €/child) with a choice of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, pastries (croissant/ pain au chocolat), bread & home made jam, fruit juice, home made yogurt, hard boiled egg/ scrambled eggs.
Breakfast is served from 8 to 10am
Gourmet plates on request
I don't do table d'hôtes, but in the land of « greed », we propose some savoury terroir products on request : starter + main course + home made pudding for 30 euros. salty foie gras, toast and nuts, duck rillettes and toast et toasts, cassoulet with duck confit, fresh goat cheese, magret of duck dried, smoked trout and blinis, a variety of fresh salads, chocolate mousse, ice creams, strawberry salad etc..,
These gourmet plate are served only in the evening and from 6 to 8 pm.
Champagne & wines
We propose a selection of champagne and wines to accompany your gourmet plates. Please note that in France in guest houses, alcohol cannot legally be served without food.

Option room + bikes (with deposit)
Electric bike supplement of 25 €/half-day ; 40 €/day, Classic bikes supplement of 10 €/half-day, 20 €/day).
We have 3 electric bikes and 2 classic bikes.
Electric cars
We are not equipped with a plug to recharge the batteries of electric cars, but there are two villages in the vicinity in Verteillac (7 km), in Mareuil (15 km) and in the little town of Brantôme (20 km) are.
Should you want to use the normal electric socket in our barn, it is only possible during the night and we will charge you according to the electricity tariff.

All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners.
The rooms and lounges are non-smoking, the use of the electronic cigarette is tolerated.
We do love animals, but they are not accepted on the premises, since our two adorable cats are very territorial.
Parties and events are not allowed, except with a prior agreement, or ifthe place is privatized.
Booking & cancellation policy
Booking
To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 18 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website.
Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within.
Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission.
To secure any booking we require a deposit to be paid in advance, this deposit amount is usually 50 % of the full tariff.
However, for certain group weeks, and specifically for those which include a guide or teacher, then other conditions will apply. Please contact us for details.
Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Settlement of the balance
All extra costs must be paid before leaving the premises.
Cancellation
More than 2 months before the start of the course:100% refund less the deposit.4 to 8 weeks before the start of the stay : 50%refund less the deposit.Up to 4 weeks before the start of the stay: No refund will be given.
Non-arrival guests, who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit their deposit paid and the full amount of the booking will be due. It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriate holiday / cancellation insurance where required.
In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, and guests will be reimbursed within 7 days.
Free parking
There is a free outdoor parking.
At night, bikes may be parked in our barn.
Free wifi access
Free broadband Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately.
Tourist tax
In the Dordogne county, the tourist tax is of 40 cents/ person/night, an amount paid to the French Treasury.

Our charming and peaceful hamlet, is situated 2,8 kilometers from the lovely village of La Tour Blanche (bakery, butcher, post office, grocers, tobacconist and newsagents, hairdresser and a medical centre and even a coworking office, what else !)
